Nederland is a cute little town about 25 minutes west of Boulder. It is one of my favorite day trip designation in Colorado. There are a lot of great hiking trails around the area with various levels of difficulty. I like visiting it during the summertime when we want to get outside and escape the heat. Plus, Nederland has the Carousel of Happiness, which is a fun little pitstop for the kids as a post-hike reward.
I recently found the cutest little meadow of wildflowers while on a hike in Nederland. I knew that it would be a great little spot for a family portrait session. It made me so happy that Kylie was up to making the drive to Nederland for her motherhood session with me.
Although I love photographing families in iconic locations like this one in Boulder. It was fun to go deeper into the mountains with Kylie and her children. They were the sweetest, and I am so thankful that I had the privilege of capturing this motherhood session for them!
